Should I buy bitcoins right now? : Bitcoin

Buddy, if you are a holder then it doesn’t matter when you buy BTC.

I do believe crypto is still in infant stage and we are still yet to see what comes in the future.

For those are asking, guys, you can use these 3 Best Crypto Exchanges recommended by other Redditors to buy BTC and other altcoins.

You should buy if you understand & believe in what bitcoin’s trying to do.

If you do anything else, you may be lucky with bitcoin, but you’ll eventually be parted from any profit you make by plausible-sounding crooks working some grift or other.

Buying Bitcoin now is hell of a lot smarter than buying at the end of last year. This is all anyone knows

Depends on your time frame, I bought in 2015 at $350, then it dropped below $200, I continued to hold and sold a good amount at $12k last year.

Bitcoin is not a short term investment or quick spine.

So yes if you’re long and no if you are short

The correct attitude.

If you are trying to play the market for short term gains, there’s a 50% chance you’ll get stung.

You simply can’t predict the short term fluctuations.

The only thing you can predict is that Bitcoin is going to rise significantly over the long term.

When 1 BTC is $100,000, are you going to be that bothered that you bought at $12,000 (102,045,329 sats) and missed potentially buying at £10,000 (107,955,686 sats)? The market is never going to wait to suit your price point. If you sit on it and Bitcoin is $15,000 (127,556,661 sats) next week, you’ll get fewer bitcoin for the same dollars, and regret it, and probably wait again.

Consider Bitcoin to be a 5 year investment (minimum).

Bitcoin Core is the backbone of the Bitcoin network.

Almost all Bitcoin wallets rely on Bitcoin Core in one way or another.

If you have a fairly powerful computer that is almost always online, you can help the network by running Bitcoin Core.

I’m pretty new to btc and don’t know if nows the right time to buy.

Should I wait for the prices to potentially go down or buy before it gets too high?

You should buy a little bit each week. I’ve been buying on Sundays and Wednesdays for the past 2 years every week.

Guide: Is now a good time to buy Bitcoin? from Bitcoin

“We will most likely find a potentially short period of consolidation around low $900’s, before we start testing the 4 digit barrier, potentially with one or two mini spikes to the mid $900’s and then a sell off back into the upper $800’s/low $900’s as the market finds its feet after skipping a beat through the $800’s.”

“Without a doubt, Bitcoin will rise further next year.

I have $300 dollars to put in right now, but I’m thinking that if I wait the price may drop lower, and that I’d be better off buying then. So my question is buy now or wait for it to drop a bit?

https://breadwallet.com/blog/how-invest-bitcoin-without-getting-hurt-volatility/

The best strategy is called “dollar cost averaging”, basically a set amount in dollars that you buy each week.

If you’re going to just buy some and forget about it because you think bitcoin will gain value over long term, then just buy now and forget about it.

If you’re going to gamble, then gamble. You’re not going to get an unbiased answer here.

Well it all depends on what your plans for buying/selling are. Theres no formula to determine when Bitcoin will go up or down.

I just learned about Bitcoins two days ago.

I’ve no knowledge about trading or anything but I just wanted to buy some for fun.

Is it OK to buy them now or is it totally stupid ?

Can you live without the funds you are about to spend for more than 2 months?

I could throw it by the window and I could still live ok 🙂 I use the same rule at the casino XD

Never hold in fiat in banks more money than you are willing to lose. Everything else should be in Bitcoin.

I’d add to this to buy in small increments over time.

You’re much better off buying $20 every week for 5 weeks than $100 all at once.

If you try to time the market the market will most likely fool you.

The price is irrelevant. Is it wise to invest in bitcoin right now? Will the value keep increasing? I would just like to know some opinion on this

You might lose every cent of it forever, and be incredibly unhappy in 7 weeks.

And read about it and try to have at least a “big picture” understand of the technology and why it’s important. Because maybe one day you will be in the same position where someone will be asking you if they should invest.

That way you will be protected from the volatility whilst still being able to take advantage of Bitcoin’s insane percentage gains.

I just pulled trigger on the 1.5. If it is going to be at 5k one day, then I made the right call, regardless if r drops by 300 before then.

dude congrats! I too want to invest in bitcoin.

I have some money allocated towards investing, and I have been looking at bitcoin for a while. I would’ve bought some when the price was a bit over $7,400, but I’ve been having issues with my cryptocurrency exchange account because it has been inactive. Is there a good change bitcoin’s price will decrease to around $7,000 again in the near future? Should I buy bitcoin at this time?

Do not buy all at once. When price drop it will buy more on with discount.

depends how much money we talking.

Make 4 or 5 purchases each time price goes down.

u wont lose anything if it goes down u still have some to buy more.

You need to take some time to sit down and develop your own entry strategy.

This is the question that many people ask themselves when they hear about the outlandish returns that this cryptocurrency has had over the past 10 years.

After its creation in 2009, the Bitcoin price has been on a constant parabolic uptrend that has so far pushed its price from less than $0.01 to $20,000 per coin.

Meaning that a $50 investment in 2009, would have netted you $100 Million at the Bitcoin All-Time High!

Do you know any other asset that has offered similar returns? Probably not.

In this short guide, we will be covering the massive potential but also the considerable risks of investing Bitcoin, and we will hopefully help you to answer the question of whether you should buy Bitcoin, or not.

Bitcoin was created back in 2009 by its pseudonymous founder Satoshi Nakamoto.

By now, just about everybody is aware of the huge gains in the Bitcoin price. It doubled in 2016 and rocketed 1,325% in 2017.

The Bitcoin haters point to these steep gains as proof that it’s a dangerous bubble. Most of these long-time critics will tell you only fools invest in cryptocurrencies.

But if you use the right strategy, buying Bitcoin now makes sense for almost every investor.

The short answer to why buying Bitcoin is a good idea (even for those who despise it) is those extraordinary gains.
